I haven't written anything in quite some time.
A lot has happened.
I did not get the NSA job. That is incredibly upsetting. That job would've been
the most life changing thing to ever happen to me, I think. The fact that after
a year of hard work, sweating, and waiting, it's just... gone... is incredibly
frustrating and painful.
But I'm sure I'll find something else to do. We'll try grad school again, I
guess. maybe one day someone will want me.
This does mean that I'll be sticking around though. Which I am conflicted about.
On the one hand, I want to get the FUCK up out of hear. On the other, it's
quite peaceful. I dunno. No real rush here, I guess I'll just take it easy for
now.
I met someone. I have no idea what we're doing, but I'm trying not to think of
this teleologically.
The purpose can be the moment, I think I can be okay with that.
She's pretty fucking great. But I feel like she's keeping something from me.
Only time will tell.
I got tested for herpes a week ago. It was only supposed to take 24-48 hours to
get the results, but I haven't heard anything about it. I'm trying not to sweat
it.
I have no fucking idea what I'm doing.
